Leadership for Dublin

I would like to thank you for visiting my website and I am honored to be serving as your Mayor to protect our amazing quality of life.

As a working Mom, I know how important it is to maintain our amazing schools, gorgeous parks and open spaces, safe, vibrant neighborhoods and commercial districts. My leadership style embraces a robust exchange of ideas and input from our City staff, the City Council, and the community I serve. Working with you, I have:

Led efforts to ensure City decision-making is transparent and fiscally accountable. In these difficult financial times, our City continues to maintain healthy emergency reserves and a budget surplus.

Established Dublin as a “Green City” sustainable for future generations, including developing a Climate Action Plan to be carbon neutral by 2045, switching our electricity supply to renewable solar and wind sources, and utilizing solar garbage cans.

Championed Investment in Services/Mental Health – I’m so proud that the City of Dublin took the lead on the creation of the first ever mental health urgent care service to help people through acute crisis. The City also started a behavioral health unit in police services to ensure that we can better support families, while at the same time, prevent tragedies and support our police officers. Maintaining our quality services for the most vulnerable in our community — our seniors, veterans, and domestic violence victims—is my top priority.

As our City celebrates its 40th Anniversary of incorporation, I will be committed to continuing our tradition of keeping our Dublin community – and our open spaces, parks, schools, and neighborhood-serving businesses – the great place we love – and a community that embraces diversity and community engagement in planning for our future.

With your continued help and support, I will continue to champion policies that protect and preserve our New American Backyard.
